Following Tim’s 5-day course which you can read about shortly, deaf pilots met at Edgehill – otherwise known as Shenington Gliding Club.
Unfortunately not all could be with us, but Joan and David, Andrew and Chris, Yoav, Tim, John and newcomer Mark and family visited for the day.
Shenington was busy so unfortunately we had to wait all day to fly the gliders. Meanwhile John flew with Andrew, Joan and David in the Chipmunk.
Joan and David flew in a glider too, getting another airfield in their logbooks.
And finally towards the end of the day Mark had his first flight in a glider. 🙂
It was great to see everyone, and welcome Mark and hopefully he will take to the skies. Unfortunately we didn’t take any group photos this time, but we are already planning our next visit, hopefully to Husbands Bosworth. Watch this space!
